ABOUT ABOUT

Instructor:  Brian Glaze
Experience Level: Beginner/Intermediate

This one-day workshop explores the art of welding with metal found objects. Starting with a visit to a local scrap yard, you will learn how to identify weldable metals for your project. After a lunch break, use a MIG welder with other related hand tools to create your own found object sculpture.

Prerequisite: Welding Basics or equivalent experience.

All welding tools and basic safety equipment such as glasses, gloves, jackets, etc. will be provided by GoggleWorks. Be prepared to walk in an industrial setting; gloves and boots/work shoes are highly advised.
