Fresh from completing a 10-week summer residency at GoggleWorks which included a permanent stained glass installation in our main building, Joseph will also include advice on applying to artist residencies.
About Joseph Cavalieri:
In 2010, Joseph established CAVAglass, a glass studio in the East Village of New York City. His focus is on making private and public commissions, teaching private classes, and making one of a kind glass art using methods created by Medieval stained glass artists. Before pursuing his art career, Joseph worked as an Art Director for GQ, People, and Good Housekeeping magazines, where he gained marketing insight from editors.

GoggleWorks Center for the Arts is a 145,000 square foot, five-story community arts center located in downtown Reading, Pennsylvania. The former safety goggle factory was reimagined into a thriving complex which includes seven large teaching studios, juried-in artist studios, exhibition galleries, classrooms, film theatre, and store.
