Experience Level: Beginner/Intermediate
5 weeks / Wednesdays, 6-9pm
Develop and expand your surface and design potential through mid-range firing. Review the limitless possibilities of glaze layering through dipping, spraying, and brushing. Explore the application of washes, underglazes, terra sigillata, and the masking properties of wax resist. Prerequisite: any Intro to Ceramics course or equivalent experience. Students are encouraged to bring any preferred ceramic and carving tools as well as brushes.
