In the workshop, artist Rebecca Chapell will guide you in the discovery of new forms and ways of making through curiosity and simple play. Develop your personal sensibility with clay as you explore combining various techniques, such as handbuilding and wheelthrowing. Leave with the skills needed to turn your ideas into fun and creative objects with meaning.
About Rebecca Chappell
Rebecca received her M.F.A. from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 2008 and her B.F.A. from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2003. Chappell has participated in solo and group exhibitions across the US. She currently teaches at the Maryland Institute of Art as well as Tyler School of Art. Rebecca lives and maintains a studio in Philadelphia PA.
